Golden Leaf
Gold Leaf is a two-piece abstract work defined by layered structures and a restrained, earthy color palette. Golden accents run through deep blues, browns, and blacks, creating a subtle interplay between light and depth. The textured surfaces suggest traces of time, accumulation, and transformation.
The two works engage in a quiet dialogue: closely related in material and expression, yet distinct in composition. Gold leaf serves as a unifying element, lending the series a sense of tension, balance, and understated elegance.
Gold Leaf is part of an ongoing series. In addition to this set, several other works exist that further explore and vary the theme through different compositions.
